Field building programs are intended to cultivate the capacity of the field to conduct high-quality transformative research. Our aim is to identify lines of research that might help address the most challenging issues of education and enable scholars to reimagine “the art of the possible.”
Through this program, we intend to empower researchers to be simultaneously innovative and rigorous in conceptualizing and developing new lines of research, new concepts, and new methodological approaches to contribute to solutions to society’s most pressing problems. These grants intend to be inclusive across generations and institutions, making the best use of the creative energy of bringing people together to address complex challenges.
