We are currently receiving unprecedented numbers of applications to all our research grant programs due to shifts in federal funding. We are working to update our review processes to accommodate this influx and to balance our desire to get as many grants out the door as quickly as possible with the imperative to run an equitable and rigorous review process that provides as many applicants as possible with useful feedback. In some cases, review processes may be different from what grantees have experienced in previous grant cycles with Spencer.
