The Foundation relies on a vast network of scholars in the many disciplines and fields it supports to serve as proposal reviewers and program advisors. Their scholarly expertise helps improve the Foundation's judgment about funding decisions and strategies. We are grateful for their contributions, which clearly enrich the processes and outcomes of our work. For some Foundation programs, advisors participate at large. For others, smaller committees are formed and meet periodically at the Foundation to discuss proposals and program development. Currently the Foundation convenes the following advisory groups:
